These are not grocery store weight bags, although they are grocery store bag size. They are lighter weight but do the job for what I bought them for.These bags are just as expected. Not the thickest or thinnest. I am using them for lining my green food compost bin because they are allowed and they keep my bin cleaner between washings. Just what I was looking for.
